Private and NHS eye examinations undertaken with the personal touch
Receiving an eye test is vital to maintaining effective eyesight. Our NHS and private eye assessments are comprehensive, checking your eyes for a wide variety of ailments and ensuring your lens prescription is accurate.
When you should receive an eye test
On average, you should attend an eye test at least once every two years. But you may have to visit us every 12 months if you fall into the following categories:
- If you’re younger than 16
- Older than 60
- If you already suffer from eye problems
- If you have a family history of glaucoma or diabetes.
How long your eye test will last
If you book an eye test with us, your eye examination will last as long as necessary to ensure your vision is optimal.
In this time you’ll receive a thorough check-up. We’ll also answer any questions about the process and provide you with all the information you need to fully understand your prescription.
For the highest standard of optics, we can also provide you with an additional 3D scan called an OCT test, the most comprehensive and modern way of checking the full health of your eyes. This scan shows the back of the eyes in detail, allowing us to check for any visual impairments.
This is a dynamic test tailored to suit your needs.
